Measuring social impact at three levels provides a comprehensive view of the relationship between the enterprises’ health, the individuals (workforce) wellness and their impact on communities - do their efforts lead to meaningful and sustainable development?
The ICE Index innovation is in comparing the relationship between the wellness of the Individuals (workforce), the health of the Enterprise and how they collaboratively drive transformational change in the communities they serve. At the individual level, it reveals personal development in skills, education, and quality of life, using an already tested methodology- the eight dimensions of wellness. The enterprise’s health and ability to scale is measured through the six conditions of systems change: policies, connections, resource flows, connections, power dynamics and narrative shift. Community-level measurement is recorded through the SDGs. Together, these measurements offer a comprehensive view of how interventions lead to social transformation.
ICE Index impact measurement offers a holistic understanding of how the three different components interact and lead to the identification of key leverage points for interventions, enabling data-driven decisions and resource allocation for optimal outcomes. It provides a scalable framework for identifying successful systems approaches and enhances risk management by identifying potential risks and unintended consequences. Additionally, it demonstrates the enterprise’s commitment to transparency and accountability, fostering trust and collaboration with stakeholders.
